About us |
 Havannette´s Anne-Mari Hirvasnoro I got my first dog when I was 7 years old. That dog was a Bichon Frisé male called "Tipsu". Tipsu was a great dog; sweet, nice and everybody´s friend. I learned a lot from Tipsu; he learned to me, what was life with dogs! I have always loved little, cute dogs, who have beautiful coats. So that´s why I totally crushed to Bichon Havanese breed. First when I was finding information from the Havanese I falled in its wonderful and happy temperament. Havanese is also a quite healty breed and many dogs are healty checked. I also like that there is a lot of colors in Havanese´s coats. In year 2004 my dog hobby started again. Then I really understood that "When you give a little finger to dogs, it takes a hold hand"! Our dogs are our familymembers, but still pets. They live in our home with us and sometimes they even come to sleep in our bed. I also like dog shows and that´s our hobby. In year 2005 I completed the breeder´s basic course and early in 2006 I got a kennelname "Havannette´s". In early of 2008 I compeleted breeder´s course 2nd. I really enjoy living with my lovely ones and I want to do all what I can for this wonderful breed. I am also a member in these registered clubs in Finland: Finnish Kennel Club, Finnish Dog Breeders, Bichon Havanais Club of Finland, The Finnish Toy Dog Association and Companion Dogs Club of Rauma. 
 My breeding will be very light at future, about one litter in year. My litters will be planned very carefully and every litter will born to me and to my breeding. I try to keep a puppy from every litter or placed a puppy into a foster home. My goal is to breed healthy, social and beautiful, silky-coated Havaneses. I use only healthy-checked dogs to breeding. Unfortunately even the best planning don´t mean that the puppies will be healthy for all their lives, but I try to avoid the biggest risks with good planning and healthy-checked dogs. Our puppies will move to their new homes about at the age of 9 weeks. Puppies will be registered to the Finnish Kennel Club. Puppies will be checked by a veterinarian.
